Suzy Destroy is the frontwoman of the underground punk band SUZY DESTROY AND THE CYNICS, a crew of rebels who survive by dumpster diving, squatting in abandoned buildings, and playing deafening shows raucous crowds. Punk isn’t a career to them, its armor, a middle finger to the world that left them behind. When Johnny Goner, a legendary punk icon offers them a contract, everything fractures. The deal includes opening for him on tour, and closing the infamous PUNK IS DEAD festival.

For The Cynics, Suzy’s fame is betrayal, but she is done with screaming into the void. As the band hits the road, it splinters. Johnny’s fans are toxic, and his promises are flimsy. And Suzy hears a voice whispering, LET ME IN. Whether it’s ambition, guilt, or something darker, the voice grows louder the closer she gets to success.

The road to PUNK IS DEAD becomes a gauntlet of deceit, sellouts, and compromises, and Suzy must choose between the band who shaped her, fame, or if she’s willing to destroy everything to reamain whole.
