Martin John

Martin John was born in Northern British Columbia in Canada, and is a member of the Tl’azt’en Nation living on the lands of lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. A member of the inaugural class of the Audible Indigenous Writer’s program, Martin has received several grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, and has been shortlisted for Never Whistle at Night: Part 2, Subito Press’ Stephen Graham Jones Horror Novella Competition, Scholastic’s Open Call for Indigenous authors and Views from the Overlook.
